Their home lost to the chaotic magic of the Rune Wars, these stranded souls found refuge in the petricite forest.

How to Play Demacia Rising
Demacia Rising is a turn-based city-building metagame where you play as Lux, guided by Tianna Crownguard. Each turn, you can train units, build structures, move armies between settlements, and research upgrades. Click the Sun icon to end your turn - but remember, you need 10 Silver Shields to complete each turn! The Demacia Rising game saves your progress automatically after every turn.
Silver Shields Guide
Silver Shields are the essential currency in Demacia Rising. You earn Silver Shields by playing League of Legends or TFT matches. Use them to build structures, upgrade settlements, unlock research, and progress through the story. Pro tip: Complete daily and weekly missions for bonus Silver Shields, and consider the Battle Pass for increased earnings!
Resource Management
Master resource gathering to expand Demacia. Food from Farms sustains your army. Lumber from Lumberyards, Stone from Quarries, and Metal from Mines build your structures. Petricite from Mills unlocks elite upgrades. Towns have special environments - placing the right structure in the right town gives bonus resources. If your layout isn't working, you can demolish buildings to try different combinations!
Combat & Battles
Combat in Demacia Rising triggers when exploring occupied territories or defending against enemy raids. Before attacking, click enemy territory to scout their forces and assess their strength. Battles resolve automatically in an autoplay format. When enemies attack your settlements, you'll receive advance warning - move your units to defend before the battle begins! Units have specific strengths and weaknesses that can be upgraded through Research.
Research & Upgrades
The Research tree is key to mastering Demacia Rising. Unlock powerful upgrades for your Kingdom, Structures, Towns, and Units. Research requires resources plus Valor - earned from establishing settlements, winning battles, and completing events. Research is divided by Zeffira's level: upgrade your main city to unlock more powerful options. Champion units like Poppy, Morgana, Kayle, and Galio are recruited through the Research tree!
Demacia Rising Not Working? Try These Fixes
If Demacia Rising is not working or patching issues occur: 1) Update to the latest LoL patch, 2) Restart the League client completely, 3) Check the official LoL status page for known issues, 4) Clear your client cache. Riot temporarily disabled the mode at launch to fix bugs - check if it's been re-enabled.
